About her
I'm told that I am good fun...normally stemming from being loud with a big laugh. I enjoy life - I love being alive and have decided I quite like the idea of going forward with someone by my side. I have been single for a number of years but can chat about that at a later time.
I have 2 grown up daughters, both married and off living their own lives. I also have a very grumpy old Jack Russell who is my best buddy.. I love walking with my dog and also walking my daughter's dog. As well as my full time occupation as a book keeper I work in a country pub - not only to earn extra money for nice holidays but it's a great way to socialise. I love gardening but am a practical sort of gardener - if I can't eat anything as a result, or it hasn't fed the bees then I don't grow it! I would love an allotment but they are like gold dust near me so I stick to my garden. If I am not in the garden, I may be spending time with my new grand daughter. I have a pragmatic view of life - we are here only the once even though I may not make the most of every day I appreciate the fact that I am still here, healthy and happy and appreciate it for what it is. I have been in a couple of significant relationships and after a spell on my own feel that the time is right to maybe go again, I am not looking for marriage just someone to move forward with and enjoy the nicer things in life with. I enjoy a nice meal but do not particularly enjoy cooking and wine is also a nice indulgence. I don't tend to watch a lot of television, preferring a good audio book as I potter through my days. I am interested in keeping fit and going to the gym but this has to fit in around everything else...

My ideal match would need to be a man who knows his own mind, knows where his life has taken him so far and knows where he wants it to lead to. He can't be the sort who needs looking after, I don't do looking after men. I want to enjoy his company, he will need a good sense of humour without being silly. No racist or bigoted tendencies, I like people to live and let live. He will need to be kind and caring and a friendly, approachable person. For a relationship to work I need someone who needs their own space whilst appreciating that I need mine. I am looking for someone to share holidays, weekends, dog walks, fun days and nights - whatever we choose to do together to suit us both - anything and nothing. Being honest I don't really know what I want to share, I'm sure it will happen naturally with the right person. Not sure what a deal breaker would be - let's meet and find out!......But a good cook would be great!
