I lived in South Africa for many years, returning recently after retiring, in order to spend more time with my family and to take advantage of the wonderful travel opportunities in UK.
I am young at heart, a hopeless romantic , friendly and outgoing with a good sense of humour (totally irreverent and ridiculous at times) and enjoy meeting new people.
I like reading, sewing, listening to music, non-strenuous walks and quiet nights in (preferably with someone who likes to share a good meal and a glass of wine)
I am a reasonable cook, enjoy being in the kitchen and would love a chatty companion to help peel the spuds (and maybe do the washing up?)
I am a great animal lover, having owned Bull Mastiffs, Staffies and German Shepherds in SA, and presently have a rescue cat.
