About her
Well, I have the usual 'been there, done that' CV. Most people on the website could say the same. What else then?
Imagine this scenario.
A pod of dolphins were playing around the bow of our yacht. The Mediterranean sun sparkled on a flat sea.
' We'll never be as good as this again, ' he said.
She nodded and gazed out beyond the billowing sail to the horizon.
Now think about this scenario.
When I need comfort food, I use my non dairy recipe for fish pie. It reminds me of icy days whan I was growing up in London. My father would bundle me up and take me out to the local ponds to see if the ice was thick enough to stand on. It never was. But those were days when a coal fire welcome, and the smell of a pie baking in the oven warmed my heart, as well as my frozen extremities, when we returned home.
By the way, my all time favourite comfort food is chocolate.

Lifelong interests include literature and the arts, walking, swimming, singing, travel, friends and family. I have 2 adult sons and 2 grand children.
Since Covid, I spend a few months in France each summer.
I enjoy discovering hidden corners of London or pretty much anywhere, including for free or on a shoestring. I like anything with coconut and/or fresh lime juice, sitting round the firepit in the garden on a summer's evening with a glass of wine, or any film/play with Juliette Binoche.
Aside from chocolate, scribbling and singing are two of my most favourite things.
