I think that friends would describe me as kind, gentlemanly, helpful, trustworthy and honest. I'm not sure whether they would be entirely right but that's because I'm also modest.
I like animals (I have a cat}, the countryside and seaside, eating out and the theatre, but I'm also happy watching TV with a glass of scotch and a packet of fish and chips.
One thing I love and really miss is one to one intelligent conversation, interspersed with a lot of laughter. I'm very tactile so my cat, Humphrey, gets a lot of fuss.

I'd like to meet someone who would take me for what I am - short, bald and as ugly as sin but who likes to walk on the beach, laugh in the rain, discuss their latest visit to the theatre or museum and eat out (or in) whether it be fine dining or fish and chips.
