I like to have an active social life and I am looking for someone to join it with me.
I balance my jewellery making business with seeing friends, day trips throughout the country, mini UK holidays and evenings out. I also enjoy the occasional holiday in the sun with my daughters and friends.
I am a keen gardener so although I love to chat to my neighbours when tending out the front, there is something wonderful about sitting in my own little oasis around the back, with the sun on my face, my cat on my lap and soaking up natures silences.
I love to read, I am one of those people who still uses the local library. I can read 3/4 books a week and enjoy a wide range of styles, authors and genres. I also run a book club and love a good debate on the topics, characters and content of the books.
I relish a political debate, an entertaining card game and a challenging quiz. I do the daily sudoku and crossword in the telegraph and if I find the time, bake the odd cake. I admit that if left to my own devises my dinner consists of poached egg on toast but I can cook a mean chicken roast when there is someone to savour it with me.
I am a lady at a point in her life where I want nothing more than my family and friends around me, a nice house and garden to relax in, fun times to look forward to and someone to share it all with.

My ideal match would be someone that makes me happy. Happiness in life is underestimated and what is a life without smiles and laughter?
I care not for how someone looks but how someone makes me feel. Kindness, loyalty and thoughtfulness are unrated and so are small gestures and niceties. The small things count for a lot!
I'm not looking for a CEO or a high flying professional (although those chaps aren't to be sniffed at!), but a companion who is honest, sincere and seeking a fulfilled and rich future.
