About her
My friends recently gave me a 'word art' picture which uses words describing the person to create a picture. Some of the words they used to describe me included - thoughtful, kind, open minded, patient, thorough, caring. I'd add sensitive, loyal, determined, organised and independent to that list!
My work is a vocation rather than a job and so occupies much of my time and thoughts. I balance this with my love of being active and getting outdoors walking, running, exploring new places including open land and National Trust properties or pottering in the garden with my hens. I am definitely a home cooking and baking rather than ready meal kind of girl, but do enjoy a good meal or afternoon tea out with friends and family.
I have recently taken up yoga and enjoy reading a good book before I go to sleep. I'm pretty terrible at sitting still so I'm not the greatest film buff, but do enjoy watching a decent film. My mind always finds something to occupy it and I usually have a 'project' on the go. Currently it is making curtains using my new sewing machine!

It would be great to share time with someone who also enjoys the outdoors and being active. Someone who understands that being together can involve time apart as well as quality time together. Someone who can appreciate the simple things in life rather than just needing material items. Someone who likes a bit of travel whether in the UK or beyond, attending a concert or theatre production.
