About her
I am quite shy when I first meet people but I'm quite chatty once I get to know you and I enjoy a good talk over a cup of tea and some biscuits.
I am partially deaf in both ears so I wear hearing aids in both ears. Most of the time this works fine, I'm just saying it now so everyone knows. I work full time and use the phone and even take minutes from time to time. I work in administration in the public sector but I am also a part time freelance translator working from German into English. Outside work I'm interested in other cultures. I like visiting the British and London Museums amongst others. I am interested in history in general. I like art and visit the galleries but I have neglected this lately. I enjoy reading,mostly crime novels. I also read these in German as they are a fun way of learning more about the regions of Germany. I enjoy walking and every 4 weeks I walk a section of the London LOOP with a group of friends which usually ends at a cafe for the talk over the cup of tea or coffee.

I'm looking for someone to share my interest of classical music with because most people I meet don't like it and it's important to me. I started to go to the Proms a few years ago and a couple of times got a half season ticket. I had a great time but going with someone would be even better. I would love to go on some long walks with a partner to really explore places. I would like to explore more in general. I would like to be able to talk to each other. I'm not a political person and can find this a turn off if someone talks about politics at length or gets a bit aggressive about it.
