Happy in a silk dress, jeans or combat gardening gear, friends would say I am quirky, creative, artistic, loyal, honest to a fault, help out, listen well. Make my own mind up, rarely read tabloids, challenge conventions.
A Radio4 fan, I make glass sculptures, and will have a go at almost everything bar bungyjumping.
Occasionally impulsive on decisions, I once bought a restoration project in Italy, now sold - it led to a love for Italy, new best friends and a great experience.
I like to explore cities but live in the country. Love reading literature and new ideas in architecture etc. I have shared the single available holiday novel with a friend by ripping it into several parts, she appreciated that even more than last Rolo sharing.
I've worked in science research then a sales job which included living in Paris and Munich briefly, and which funded 2 years sailing to Australia on yachts. Currently running a small data company on a part time basis. This years holiday- winery based road trip with friends from Western Canada to San Francisco, then hopped to Costa Rica to fulfill a long held desire to visit this amazing place, go Canopy Ziplining, explore the rainforests.
Whats missing? the one I want to call first, laugh with, someone to share ideas and reactions, hugs, travels, be there for.
