About her
It would be really nice to share the good things in life with someone who enjoys travel, culture (theatre, opera, ballet etc) and good food and wine. I love to cook, and allegedly I’m not too bad at it. I have a broad knowledge of wine having enjoyed visiting wine growing areas around the world. My most recent holiday was to the US where I did quite a tour which ended in West Virginia where I visited some wineries and discovered the delights of their wines. My next trip will be skiing in February. My family are very important to me and I’m now in the fortunate position of having 2 adorable grandchildren. Despite the knocks I’ve had in life I’m a ‘cup half full’ type of person and have a positive outlook. I am intelligent but not intellectual. My political leaning is slightly left. I like quality not quantity and I’m definitely not into designer clothes, lots of make up and high heels. Having said that I think I scrub up well when the occasion calls for it.
