My friends describe me as caring, easy-going, a good listener and loyal.
During the day, I'm a commercial lawyer. In my leisure time I teach and practise karate, play acoustic and classical guitar and dabble with the piano. In search of relaxing hobbies during lockdown, I developed an enjoyment for photography and watercolour painting (I also tried out juggling, with limited success...). I enjoy reading a pretty eclectic range of genres from history, non-fiction to science - whatever I can get lost in!
I've coached traditional archery and have taken part in competitions (I once won a tonne of Tiptree jam for 'Jammiest Shot' at the Colchester Oyster Fayre).
I especially enjoy a night in with friends, a good takeaway and a lot of laughs.
I like to learn new things and seek out adventures; seeing a show, going camping, travelling or just trying something new. I've 'run' as one half of a pantomine horse for a comic relief race...
