About her
I am a hopeless Grecophile and sun lover, speak Greek( lived in Athens for 12 years), French( bit rusty now!) and am endeavouring to learn Spanish. I am also an Australian citizen. When younger, I became a qualified Scuba diver, learnt to waterski, played badminton and, later, immersed myself in Middle Eastern dance. Am now attempting to learn the Argentine Tango- extremely challenging! I also sing in a choir- love music, obviously.
I guess I'm an international sort of person( the original 'Bolton Wanderer' though not the slightest interest in football).
Although I am quite well travelled- Italy, France, Israel, Egypt, Cyprus, Croatia, Cuba, India,China, North and South America, South Africa(to visit family), New Zealand( in-laws), Turkey etc., I still have 'itchy feet' and love to find myself in different cultures surrounded by the sound of different languages.
If this all sounds a bit hectic, life is much more pensive these days and I have started getting back into meditation which had somewhat lapsed over the years.
Am much more concerned about the state of the environment, the dreadful threat to wild animals and their very possible extinction and the frightening deterioration of our planet earth.
However, in contrast, I love to laugh as much as possible and, in spite of many serious hurdles along the way, I keep reminding myself to be grateful for the many experiences that I have survived. I love to watch 'good' films.
I am easygoing but quite pedantic when it comes to language, spelling etc. especially as I used to teach English and Greek( but, hopefully, not unbearsbly so),
Ideally, I need to meet someone who enjoys the sun and heat as much as I do (am a bit of a beach bum at heart if the truth be told!)..However, I do love engaging in intelligent, well- informed conversation over a wide range of topics and am interested in ongoing learning and personal development. I also like to keep up with the latest information re complementary health treatments.

Looking for someone with an active mind and interested in life. Someone musical who can also dance, maybe speaks other languages, though not essential. Someone with an expansive personality who is easygoing, preferably with no intrusive emotional 'baggage'- 'Life's too short'!!
Perhaps this is too big an'ask' but I intend to remain hopeful and positive that 'YOU', (whoever you are), are 'OUT THERE' somewhere!!
I may be 75 but have another 25 to go to play and share with that special person.
