About him
Until recently, my professional life and the passions flowing from it, have been devoted to Classical Music and the Performing Arts. Especially Opera. Friends and colleagues tell me that I am reliable, dependable, compasionate, articulate and a great listener. Having worked for three Arts Festivals, two professional Orchestras (both frequently heard on Classic FM), a major Opera House, and a Local Authority Arts and Events service, I am now easing myself into retirement. I am not ready for this development yet, and so to earn income I work for one of the Country's leading retailers. My hobbies include singing bass (I sing with two local choral societies) and leading on the marketing and audience development for one of them. I try to be optimistic but this can often flip into being a stoic about life, which is tempered by my sense of the spiritual and wonder at our world.
I also love Italy and both this year and last year I went there to see Opera performances. These were good, but I did realise I had a growing sense of something missing - someone to share this opera driven dolce vita with me. Potresti essere la mia prima donna?

To work our relationship would be based on mutual trust, respect, and empathy, a sense of fun and delight in each other's company, combined with a willingness to respect each others' space as well as a high degree of intimacy.
