I’ll admit it, I’m old-fashioned when it comes to dating style. I open doors and like to go for drinks AND dinner on the first date. But it’s all part of what makes me a gentleman. I’m looking for someone who is up for life’s adventures but doesn’t mind staying in and watching a movie when the weather calls for it. I try to eat healthily but I have a major weakness for steak. If you like a man who tries hard to make you laugh, and getting to know someone who’s a little different I’d love to take you out. Ok, I just have to be real… I’m a bit of a shut-in. Don’t get me wrong, I like going out for drinks and having fun but I find more peace and have more fun just kicking back. I love the beach, movies, music (most music from the Beatles to Elton John via John Denver and Dire Straits through to classical music, especially orchestral, piano and organ music) and poetry, spontaneous trips, and learning about all the things I thought I knew but now realise I had no idea about. It’s a crazy world, let’s be crazy together.
Hobbies, travelling (especially to Spain where I have a property I call home), walking, photography, music, reading, driving.
Outlook on life? Cannot stand the nonsense of "political correctness", in fact I am its opposite. Dislike rogue apostrophes too! Detest smoking and loud pubs (including piped “music”) where you cannot hold a conversation with a companion!
