I love my garden. I love good food. I particularly like seafood, a glass of wine and, if tempted, a dessert or cheese.
I enjoy visiting beautiful, scenic and / historical places of interest.
I enjoy the warm weather. I particularly like France and Spain. I spend a lot of time in France and my son lives in Spain, so I go there regularly. Clearly, I am not for Brexit!! In fact, my grandparents were Spanish, so I am truly European.
My friends and family enjoy my company, yet I don’t suffer fools gladly! I am considered young for my age, though suspect that just means that I am not yet too old and decrepit to have fun. I spent Christmas in Spain - watched my 1st flamenco at the Palau de la Musica Catalana - stunning World Heritage Site in Barcelona, Beautiful!
I read a lot but am not really interested in films ( tend to fall asleep!) and much of TV does my head in, especially soaps. I do enjoy quiz programmes and anything to do with politics.
I LOVE the garden. ( have I already mentioned that??) Lol. I enjoy cooking, but welcome someone to cook for me too. I also like going to the theatre and, through U3A, enjoy language learning and am also in an iPad group.
I believe it is important to keep my mind and body healthy. I go to the gym twice a week and have done so for the last 20 years! But am no way a fanatic - just to avoid stagnation! I am a happy person, with a positive outlook on life. During the last couple of years, which have been challenging, I have at last chopped up the carpet in my sitting room (after 12 years) and have laid solid flooring - and painted the walls. I’ve also spent 2 x 2 months in France - just back, in fact. So many bits of paper to fill in this year! I’m just not the type to watch TV all day, but do have 3 boxes of books I’ve read, which must find their way to the charity shop soon.

Well if you like good wine and you've enjoyed a few holidays in France, it's a perfect match made! Mum enjoys good food and conversation - as long as you have a sense of humour and don't quote from the Daily Mail! Mum likes to spoil the grandkids and gets roped into a lot of babysitting. However she loves to travel and is always disappearing across the channel or over to Spain. Mum would be perfect for you if you enjoy an evening out with plenty of debate!
