About me:
On this site via Classic FM Romance. Been separated and moved away 6 years ago with no contact. Retired commercial Senior IT Consultant and Lecturer. Enjoy good intelligent company. Like to travel, visit new places and old favorites, particularly historic/archeological sites/cities. Restrict myself to one flight per annum for environmental reasons.
Prepared to relocate for the right lady and a rock-solid relationship, as I have no ties to the area I currently live in. (Although the Fylde is a very pleasant area with good weather),(Nottingham area would be of interest as I have family there and it's great for culture.)
My interests include:
Caravanning all over UK , and have toured France and Belgium. Would like to tour more of France with the caravan. Anyone want to join me??
Interesting walks but preferably with company.
Archeology.
Wildlife.
Snorkelling.
Volunteering: As a volunteer transport driver for 2 charities. One local transport for those who are mainly housebound. The second for Transport for Sick Children, taking seriously ill children to Manchester and Liverpool childrens hospitals.
Politics/society. (I am a retired Liberal Borough Councillor)
Particularly concerned about child poverty and neglect.
Quality television, dramas, action films, thrillers documentaries.

Looking for a long term relationship where we look forward to each others company. Obviously someone who enjoys classical music and shares some of my interests. I'm open to other interests as well. Needs to be an adventurous, loving relationship. Someone who cares about society's problems, particularly poverty, and can hold an intelligent conversation.
Only someone who's politics is to the left. Conservative / Brexit would cause too many arguments!
