I am keenly aware of the need to maintain both physical and emotional health as I would like to 'live' out the remainder of my life, rather than simply 'survive'. As such, I take every opportunity to keep physically active and work hard on improving self-awareness.
Freedom-of-choice is a concept that is dear to my heart.I feel it's important to 'live-and-let-live' and not impose one's own beliefs and life-choices on others.
Born in India, I have lived in London since the age of 5. I have travelled extensively for business and leisure. After a successful career in Management Consultancy and as an Executive for Silicon Valley Tech companies, I am now more focussed on appreciating and enjoying life more fully.
Things that are important to me include:
1. Being the change that I would wish to see in the world
2. Humility: A willingness to self-reflect and laugh at oneself, as well as learning from the experience
3. The 'Butterfly Effect': spreading a good feeling across the globe amongst all living beings through a single act of kindness or appreciation.
Apart from enjoying watching and participating in a range of sports (especially middle-distance running, badminton and basketball), I love cooking and listening to a wide variety of music. I have a keen interest in International Affairs and Complementary & Alternative Medicines such as Homeopathy and Aromatherapy. At a deeper level, I work hard on being more emotionally intelligent, mindful and in-the-moment.
I also enjoy:
1. Listening to Music - all sorts...from Motown through to Van Morrison, Amy Winehouse, George Michael, Paolo Nutini, Sam Smith, Drake and Travis Scott etc.., as well as Classical (favourite piece? Rondo alla Turca - very uplifting!).
2. Focus on Health & Wellbeing, meditation and mindfulness;
3. Studying Psychology - in particular the work of Eric Berne on Transactional Analysis.
