About her
My friends would describe me as loyal, affectionate, lively, intelligent and hard working. I like food and particularly like having meals cooked for me or eating out, love animals (hence the online name) am an avid reader, gardener (no choice there as I have a very large garden), theatre, ballet, concerts, visiting stately homes, and holidays both abroad and in the UK. I also paint in a variety of media, including oils, pastels, charcoal and watercolour. As an escapist chill-out I play computer games such as Spider Solitaire, Backgammon, Cub Rummi etc. Having been widowed twice my outlook on life has, of necessity, to be optimistic that there is still a future out there.
About her ideal match
My ideal match would be a man slightly younger than myself and not too much older as I have a very young (not immature) outlook on life and plenty of energy to go with that. I would like someone taller than myself with reasonably nice looks, but more importantly a man who is kind, generous, supportive, and above all intelligent and well educated with similar tastes to my own. It would be good to share holidays, go to concerts and theatre, enjoy meals together and generally be affectionate friends and companions. However, I categorically would not consider a smoker, even occasional, or a heavy or regular drinker.
