Gregarious Piscean, I enjoy things that make you think, I like good company, intelligent conversation all combined with a good meal and a decent red.
I am a very enthusiastic and serious chess player, having played at a national level, I took a break but I started playing again about 6 months ago in the local league, the game is very difficult but I enjoy the challenge, it definitely gets harder as you get older, things take just a little longer to work out, hopefully I can get back to somewhere near my former standard.
I also play bridge, I used to play in lots of competitions but now you can find me playing on the internet and a few local clubs. Chess is down to skill, Bridge is also skilful however luck does play a large part in how well you do. There are a lot of ladies that play very good bridge, if you fancy a game with me come and give it a go I'm not difficult to find.
I also enjoy a variety of different types of music, I like action films, mainly something with a good plot and not just hack and slash. I also like to visit different parts of our country and I like spectacular scenery.
I also like the arts, I regularly go down to London to visit art galleries and interesting exhibitions. I have also more recently become passionate about theatre, much of what I see is local AmDram but I also go down to the West End, my next trip will be to see "The Play that Goes Wrong" in early December, I am told that it is absolutely brilliant.
