A diamond in the rough..untapped reserves of wit. Actually I am a miserable old curmudgeon just starting a postgrad course in shaking my fist and putting knives through childrens' footballs. If I worked in marketing, I would describe sushi as cold raw fish. I don't work in marketing.
The bottom line is that I am sane and solvent. Life has taught me to be very independent and to find the good in people. I don't feel the need to travel the world quite yet as I am kept quite busy exploring the UK. My sense of humour vacillates between puerile and childish; if you have children under the age of ten then I will fit right in. My kids {2} have blossomed into young adults and are no longer on the parental payroll.
I have not watched television for nearly 20 years, the gap being filled with R4 and trying to learn to play the piano.

I am not looking for a trophy to display. Nor someone to iron my clothes: the iron is an instrument of Satan and I won't have one in the house.
What I really need is....
Someone who likes running; I am attempting to run a different parkrun each week this year and that means some early starts or overnight in the camper. There are also a few races each year -10k usually and perhaps a half. I want to share this interest with a partner.
Faces look better without makeup and fingernails are at their most beautiful when they are blackened with soil.
You will also need to live reasonably local unless you want to invite me to try your local Parkrun.
