About her
I'm a dual national - Aussie by birth, Yankee by choice. I was away from Australia for 20 years, and in the interim called London, Tokyo and Berlin home before relocating to the east coast USA. I ventured forth in the world on my own, I'm quite independent like that, and decided to head back down under as I was tired of (the lack of) gun control in the USA. My dream move when I left the USA - back to the rolling hills of England - was not possible as I didn't possess the right passport! Am hoping that the trade agreement UK now has with Australia, will hopefully eventuate to freedom of movement. If not, I guess I'll have to think of a Plan B. The thing is I don't have a Plan B, so I best come up with one! I'd like to move back to the UK after the COVID-19 pandemic (whenever that ends!!). Here's hoping
As I've spent so long away from Australia, I feel quite disconnected from this country hence the need to uproot once more. Life is too short to live with regrets, and could have/should have/didn't scenarios. I love the outdoors, not the outback. I prefer the history and culture of the UK, as opposed to the sun and sand of Australia.
I've spent most of my adult life alone, but not lonely. However, I'd like to meet a man to share my life with; to be my special someone and vice versa. It would be nice to share the journey.
Have recently returned to the town I grew up in, and it is quite surreal to be back making new memories whilst having flashbacks of my youth.
p.s. My main profile photo was taken last week (January 2024) and not retouched. Don't have the inclination/time/software to mess with the truth!! Yes, I am the youngest sister, with two older sisters and an older brother!
