Normally cheerful, moderately cerebral thinker with a great sense of humour. I love a wide range of classical music but dislike country music, and like to read detective fiction. Hobbies include knitting, sewing and other crafts, which I show at local agricultural events. Used to enjoy mountaineering and horse riding but too disabled now, although I still walk my dog Jack from my wheelchar and occasionally sit on my daughter's horse. I have a wide range of interests, including physics, astronomy, philosophy, psychology and anything else that sparks my curiosity. I have no interest in reality tv or celebrity culture - almost anything else is more interesting!

I'm looking for a friend to have interesting conversations with, and to share in the excitement of new discoveries, like the photograph of a black hole just released. A good sense of humour is a must, as is the ability to laugh at oneself. A sense of curiosity and a relentless search for answers would fit well with me.
