About him
Personality-wise I'd say I'm a fairly typical artistic type with a temperament that allows for shifts depending what is at hand. Creative "flow" is part of the process and being organized is another.
Sociable and outgoing, quiet and pensive at times, but responsive and faithful to friendship.
As regards humour, it's the unexpected and bizarre that amuse me most, along with the frequent absurdities of life. I find laughter is something special or impromptu and more enjoyable for it.
I adore cats, especially the Oriental Shorthairs, and preferably I'd like a possible partner to be cat-friendly if ultimately in a shared domestic situation.
Playing and listening to music is a favourite pastime; plenty of acoustic/electric guitars and an extensive vinyl/cd record collection inc. lots of the very varied music of the late sixties through the seventies.
Reading books, films, photography ( inc. traditional film-based), playing tennis, gardening, and walking are some of the activities I enjoy.
Also being amongst nature; the coast and the sea, woods and forests, hills and valleys, and appreciating all there is to observe and listen to.
Plus cooking fairly simple but tasty and nutruitious meals.
At the moment I'm in the process of selling the house and am able to move to wherever looks like a good option.
Being open to new possibilities and opportunities, perhaps with the chance of living abroad sometime.
I've lived overseas at various times and enjoy the stimulation of different cultures/places with a preference for warmth and sunlight.
