About her
Making the most of life, all it has to offer and enjoying life's simple, and indeed finer pleasures, is a true gift, not to be taken for granted, as I've learnt from experience after losing my husband of 38 years twelve years ago.
It would be really nice to love and be loved again and share new experiences with someone special.
Love my two sons dearly, their partners and my three grandchildren are an absolute joy. They are independent and living their own lives in Crete and Scotland. I'm retired after running my own company in the Newspaper industry for twenty years.
I like to travel at home and abroad and enjoy driving. Love a long walk ending up at a cosy pub for a nice meal to finish off the day, theatre, a picnic, watching cricket, reading and seeing friends and family.
I look after myself and dress well but I'm good at getting stuck in and messy! I've got wellies, waterproofs, heels and the all important LBD.
I enjoy my garden in the summer and the cosy evenings of the winter - I'm a home maker. I play tennis - badly, do Tai Chi and Pilates. Fun to have family and friends round for dinner etc. I'm an average, messy, cook - it's more about the company than the cuisine when I entertain. I’ve an eclectic taste in music - from classical to mellow jazz to R&B. I enjoy dancing, used to salsa in the day! Respectful of Nature and animals. After losing my dog I volunteered and have not long finished training an assistant dog for someone deaf.
