While I currently live abroad, I have learned that meaningful connections are not measured in miles. The most important thing is finding that rare spark of compatibility, shared values, laughter, and genuine enjoyment of one another's company.

I divide my time between appreciating the beauty of the countryside, dreaming of future travels and cruises, and enjoying the simple pleasure of a cosy evening beside a fire with good company. Animals, beautiful gardens, good food and wine—especially Champagne—are among the many things that add sparkle to life.
I enjoy gardening, classical music, reading, and the satisfying challenge of a friendly game of Bridge. While television rarely captures my attention, I do enjoy a well-made documentary, keeping up with world events, and watching a good tennis match.
I am endlessly fascinated by antique shops and treasure-hunting, and I confess that a little retail indulgence from time to time can be rather enjoyable.
With no ties holding me to any particular place, I believe that home is not a location but a feeling—created wherever there is affection, companionship, and a meaningful connection.
