Would love some female company. Initially, text contact would be helpful and a first step to help me re-engage with "a lost social world".
I like local history, visiting interesting sites ....in the past have enjoyed several cruises as I love being on the water and visiting new destinations. I enjoy being on the local speakers' circuit giving illustrated talks around the Westcountry. I used to dance years ago ... before Lockdown v.1.0 was trying ballroom dancing lessons again plus picking up sequence dances ..something I have not done before. I rather think I would make more progress with a regular partner!!! Fat chance at the moment. So have been learning the piano online.
Love Classic FM, theatre, jazz, opera .... not wildly into "pop".
I normally would enjoy meals out and pub lunches and would enjoy working in tandem for a lovely meal at home ...with a nice wine with the meal. Have attended 3 local cookery one-day courses at a prestigious cookery school just south of the moor

Feeling very apprehensive about online dating. Needing to get my head around how it works.... before going too far. Don't want to make a mistake. Some sets of photos of ladies are confusing as some sets of photos seem to show different ladies! Others seem too far away to travel to meet easily.... so keen to link-up with someone reasonably local, so, for example, Bath seems a long way!!!!!!!!! Unless it was for a very "Gentleheart"!.
