About him
I have enjoyed the company my life partners, twice. An ominous statement ? No a statement of truth, I have been widowed twice, the first time after thirteen years of marriage and the second time for over thirty-one years.
I am, I am told "The best Cooker in the world" according to one of my children. My friends appreciated my cooking so much that they have asked me to cater for significant events.
That lead to us owning a small Inn in the Devonshire country side, which we enjoyed.
Later, having sold it we became Dealers in Antiques and Bric-a-Brac.
I stopped doing that about the same time as my second wife died, six years later on I realised that there is life left in me and I want to share that zest for living with you?

I hope that like me you will have had some of the advantages brought on by a Service's family background, travelling to all sorts of different parts of the world, experiencing many different cultures and the understand the joys and sorrows that those cultures bring with them.
That you will like me enjoy gardening and appreciate the fruits of our labour, from just sitting in the sunshine and smelling the scents of the flowers around us and in the winter or on colder days appreciate the views from the house.

I meet my second wife at a fancy dress party, she was dressed as a green parrot and I was wearing a costume I had made "Wee Willy Winky" Bed Cap, ankle length Night Shirt, and a brass night light.
