Hi there!
My friends (perhaps when threatened with the rack!) would probably describe me as easy-going, gregarious, well-informed, original, interesting, balanced and grounded. Thank you friends! I'd only add to their glowing testimonials, such further attributes as educated, charming, witty, well-spoken, intelligent and soooo very modest!
Likes? People, animals (sometimes in that order, sometimes not!) good company, lively conversation, decent red wine and a well-earned pint at the end of a long walk, cycle ride, or trail run.
Dislikes? Bigots, zealots, raw celery, extremists, drug-dealers, wasps, rats, intolerance and those who absolutely insist that only their opinion counts.
Hobbies/interests? Well, they do say that a chap needs a hobby and so I suppose my dog counts as one, in which I invest a lot of interest and time. People interest me greatly too but I can't claim to be a hobby sort of person, so you won't find me on draughty railway platforms with a clipboard, collecting postage stamps, or taking up commando macrame any time soon!
In terms of interests though, I ski and ride well, trail run averagely (but improving gradually) and these days, enjoy watching (rather than playing) Rugby. Oh yes, to add to the list, I'm very much yer man for a spot of high goals DIY.
Outlook on life? Simple. Like the man said "Life sure ain't no dress rehearsal" My take on this is: whatever it is, get out there and do it. Carpe diem!

Hello again !
How would one best sum up an "ideal" match? Let's just start by saying that a good sense of humour is the only really mandatory thing! Anything and everything else beyond this is a complete bonus!! Since life does tend to have a slightly disagreeable habit of being a bit awkward and bowling googlies, I would say that a good sense of humour is important, if only to help put these sorts of things nicely into perspective, leaving some time to concentrate on the more important things in life.
Describing my ideal match is about as tricky as you having to paint a thumbnail sketch of yourself.
The little boxes and headings don't really allow that much flexibility to fine tune descriptions do they?
Chemistry (how does one define that?) and the mutual ability to relax and communicate easily is right up there too.
