I am relishing the chance to travel again, meet people and, having just retired, enjoy some freedom. I worked in the theatre, then in the BBC but changed to working in schools when my daughter was very young. I love the theatre, films, opera and reading. I bought my self an electric bike and use it a great deal, good for the enviroment and my fitness. I began paddle boarding last autumn,in the very chilly docks of my nearest city and I aim is to change the venue to the blue waters of Greece/France/Italy, anywhere that is warm. I am currently downsizing after my retirement so that I can enjoy life and have fun! I love the theatre,opera,reading and being outdoors. I want to cook for two and making the most of life.

I'd like to meet a great coffee maker, someone who, on a relaxed Sunday morning, would offer to make me a coffee (I would do the same on alternative Sunday’s). Someone whose age doesn't define them, who is still ready for an adventure or two and who would also enjoy going to the cinema, art galleries or just making that coffee. A kindred spirit, who might easily slot into my life and me into theirs. Honesty is essential in relationships. I have a great group of friends and a good social life, a large extended family but someone special would be wonderful. Ah well, until the coffee maker appears with the Peruvian blend in the cafetiere, I'll make my own.
