About her
(I put this on hold for a while so apologies to anyone who contacted me and didn't hear anything. Now giving it my full attention.)
The last couple of years have been an amazing opportunity to understand what really matters. I've taken the plunge and moved out of London after many years, back near to where I grew up. Found a cute little house and a car, moved during lockdown, got a shortlist of dogs and now thinking about what might come next.
I love a long walk or bike ride with an audio book or podcast. Can't live without theatre, films and books but don't have a TV. Have a brain but don't always feel the need to prove it! I've been told I'm very good at talking intelligent nonsense, which I like to think was a compliment. I can knit socks, do my own tax returns and mend a puncture on my bike without tears if not swearing (if you've never turned the heel of a sock this may seem like an exaggeration). Having moved recently, I'm learning to enjoy making a garden. Recently discovered plumbing videos online - a whole new world!
Most of my happiest moments are small ones with a few people close to me. I'm comfortable on my own, but it would be lovely to have someone to share long walks, films, theatre and weekends away.

Ideal match would be a conspirator who likes being half of a team. Kind, liberal, educated, adventurous and willing to talk. You're active, well scrubbed, clean-shaven, probably a similar age and you generally look after yourself and the people you care about. Able to say what you think yet see the other person's point of view. Willing to get things down from the top shelf and open jars.
Great if we like the same things but would be fun if you have some interests of your own.
Secretly I think Mr Right may be a special breed pig farmer with a side gig as a Spectator columnist. Or vice versa.
