About her
I am fit and healthy and enjoy life and friends tell me that I am fun to be with.
I am lucky to live in a hamlet on the edge of the New Forest which I consider to be a beautiful part of the UK.
I am passionate about the country side and have no desire to live in a town or city, I have 2 dogs, a 3 year old cocker spaniel and one of her puppies 12 weeks old.
I had a horse that lived in a livery in the forest so riding straight on to the forest which is delightful, I unfortunately lost my boy earlier in the year and will not be replacing him, but still intend to ride given the opportunity.
I trained as a Physiotherapist and spend many years working in all areas of medicine including Intensive care and spinal injuries. I gave up Physio 15 years ago and became a programme manager and worked as a contractor for the NHS. I have recently retired but keeping my options open for some contract work.
I am passionate about travel and have treated myself to a special holiday every year for the last 5 years my latest adventure was to see the Orangutans and the Komodo Dragons in Indonesia. I stayed an extra week in Indonesia to spend some time with my eldest son who was living in Shanghai with his partner. They have now moved to the Philippines so will be spending Xmas in the sunshine.
Travel is in the family blood as my youngest son has spent 6 months in New Zealand on a working visa and intends to return in January before going to Canada to take advantage of a 2 year working visa. He has now settled for a while on Vancouver Island - so will be visiting next year.
I am a keen photographer as yet not brilliant but am improving with practice.

I am looking for an intelligent caring man who loves the country side and happy to put a pair of boots on and enjoy the forest whatever the weather.
I love travelling and would hope that any partner has the same passion, I have seen quite a lot of the world but there is so much more to see and it would be great to adventure with a likeminded partner.
I would hope he has a get up and go attitude and some impulsive spontaneity.
