Born in the USA but settled and resident in the UK for 20+ years.
I would describe myself as positive, funny, classic in style, inquisitive, loyal and generous. I prefer quiet conversation and intelligent banter in a cozy pub rather than a night out in a noisy bar or club. I can hold my own in a conversation on a variety of topics. I like to cook, comfortable with children and happy to travel, do new things, socialise with friends, etc.
Like to swim in the winter and play golf in the summer.
I taught music in the independent sector for 12 years, then moved to working in higher eduction. I currently manage a team that looks after students who want to do work placements.
I'm a cat lover rather than a boots and wellies dog walker, love all the usual delights such as books, travelling, good food and wine, cuture, etc. but would really prefer sharing this with someone on a regular basis.
