About him
I've spent most of my career in the world of education - as a teacher, manager and now part-time consultant. I'm a widower, having lost my wife 6 years ago and have a son studying history at university. I live in rural Shropshire, with a ridiculously large garden, which I try to keep under control. Aside from my work, I'm a trustee of a couple of charities and try and keep as busy as possible. I love reading, theatre, cooking, restaurants and visiting France and Italy. I play golf relatively badly. I follow the political scene closely - but I won't go into my current levels of frustration on that front ...! Shared values are very important and it would be marvellous to meet someone I can love and who loves me.
