I am generally a happy easy going woman - a few close friends but others with whom I have an easy contact and with whom I enjoy spending time. I enjoy making food and intimate dinners at home rather than loud parties with many people. Almost above everything else I value honesty and openness. I have difficutly with secrets and half-truths. Am able to listen and discuss ways around difficulties if and when they occur. I am looking for companionship, a partner to enjoy life with. I am passionate about listening to classical muslc and love to read, to walk and I exercise regularly at a gym. Born in the UK, grown up in Australia and now living on the islands attached to Finland in the Baltic Sea but travel is not a problem! Two grown up children - and one ex-husband who is still a dear friend. I am a teacher but have been working here, in Swedish, as a school librarian and loving every minute of it! Retired a year ago and am now looking for new adventures that were not possible during the pandemic.

I am looking for a man who is kind, thoughtful and considerate. Who is able to listen as well as make conversation. I want someone who enjoys going to classical music concerts, loves good food and wine, has nothing against travel and who wants to share his life with me...as long as we are happy. I want us to be honest with each other from the very start. I want to be able to laugh aloud together, enjoy long walks on the beach or in the mountains with someone who enjoys holding hands with there always being the possibility of a spontaneous hug!
