The time has come for me to open and go through the door, not sit looking at it hoping it will magically open!
It's not that easy to sum oneself when presented with a little box! I love being with my two children who I find are suddenly 23 & 21 and setting off on their own adventures.
I enjoy walking, cooking, tennis, swimming, literature and the arts, I love music and have quite eclectic taste ranging from house (thank you kids) to opera (Mozart and Puccini for starters) and pretty much everything in-between. I love travelling and exploring new places, but it's really not the same on your own and so much better to share the experience with someone! Dreamt of living in France and doing up a house once upon a time, it could still happen, who knows!
I am very much a practical and pragmatic person, self sufficient, a humanitarian, a good listener, and a positive person. I'm equally happy mucking about in the garden and getting dressed up to go out for a dinner later.
I am looking forward to finding someone through that doorway to share life with, very happy to start with dinner, friendship and take it from there 🙂

Ideal match? I don't really have a fixed idea of an ideal match but in essence I guess I am hoping to meet someone who is fairly easy going, a bit serious & a bit not :-) someone who has a balanced way of looking at & assessing the world, someone who enjoys talking but can genuinely listen too, with wide interest in things, someone who is active to a sensible level, someone who is capable, outgoing, warm and kind hearted, has a sense of humour and fun and is open-minded and generous of spirit. That's a basic gist of things I guess!
