About her
My friends would would describe me as talented and creative, and one actually told me last week that I was "loving and giving". So there you go!
Actually I'd say that I can sing, my voice is probably my greatest asset, and I work very hard to improve my musical skills. Yes, I am loving and giving , but also a very open person. I wear my heart on my sleeve and would hope for the same in a partner.
I love writing (journal most days) but really dislike 'text speak'.
I eat most things, but am allergic to shellfish and can't stand vinegar.
Interests are many, music being a big one - I sing in a little folk/bluegrass trio, amongst other things. Expressive art is a complete joy to me, and this year, I've also entered into the world of wedding photography!
For me, a weekend by the sea, is hard to beat when it comes to fun and relaxation. A bit of sketching, photography, nice food and a glass of something wonderful, a country walk - basically I'm easily pleased.
I have spent 3 years single, adjusting to a different way of life. I've proved I can do it. But here's the thing: - I don't want to! Life, for me, is all about sharing. Having that special person to ring when you have good news, to share experiences with, and talk to about the day you've had. To have one person in your life that you know will turn to you, and you to them. When you havent got that, the absence of it in your life is so heightened.
I am not materialistic, am not attracted by money or riches - just want to be happy and enjoy the life I've been given, and hopefully share it.
Ideally, I would like to meet someone and get to know them. Rushing is not my plan. At my age, I don't really want to make mistakes - I'd like to take time, and get it right!

I suppose for me being honest and open is the most important thing. A soul mate, someone to talk with about anything and everything, no secrets.
I would like to be with someone that makes me laugh. I have a sense of humour and would like to be with someone that has that 'spark' too.
It would be amazing if I could find a musical/arty man, someone that I could share creative actvities with. But that is not essential.
In short, I'm looking for a funny, open, loving, giving, creative chap who is also looking to have that one special person in his life. Not much to ask! Ha ha
