About her
I was widowed almost five years ago and now feel about ready to look for someone with whom to share the future. I really do miss the companionship and interaction enjoyed when in a caring relationship. I also miss having someone to care and cook for and who would also care for me.
I love most animals, indeed I am owned by a small dog myself. Previously I’ve shared my home with cats, hamsters and budgies. I also used to have horses - my lifelong passion -and orphan reared baby lambs. I enjoy most music (and used to sing in choirs), meals out, country and coastal life and am in fact looking to find somewhere more rural to live. I also enjoy reading, television dramas and some quiz shows that will keep my brain exercised. I enjoy (quite easy-ish!))

I think I can safely say that anyone who knows me would agree that I’m a warm, loving, caring person who has a traditional outlook on life. I like to give and receive thoughtful little gestures. It’s also been said that I’ve a slightly whacky sense of humour.
During ‘normal’ summer months I used to go and sometimes participate in classic car shows, which I really enjoy, most of all when I have one of my own to enter. Old cars have always been a love of mine.
Over the years, I’ve sung with several choirs both choral and Gilbert & Sullivan, in Truro, Bath and Bristol.
I have literally loads of music - including records - and books from which I can’t be prised. There are many more things I could probably write but this will hopefully be a start!
One important fact is, I do have some mobility issues, however I really try not to let these affect me more than necessary. Generally speaking, long walks are not the ideal hobby for me!

I find this part difficult, as I expect, like many it’s the early nuances which can influence choice if I’m not careful, which isn’t always fair or right, but if my brief description above rings true with you then that’s a good starting point.
It would be lovely to share hobbies or passions with someone as it really does double the pleasure, although I appreciate we may not reach one hundred percent in this, in fact it can be stimulating to discover other interests , whether it is a new one to us both or learning from each other.
