I hope I am a sparky person with lots of interests and experiences in my life. I am caring, and care for my parents, but I have love and warmth to give (and I hope to receive). I am passionate about social justice and fairness. I love music and would like to be more involved in singing or playing, and I have a much adored dog and enjoy walks with him.. i also have a lovely if crotchety cat. I love sharing meals or a coffee, chatting in front of a lovely fire, or just reading with some music in the background. But evenings at the theatre, cinema or a concert are also fun, as is the odd pub quiz (which i am bad at). I have 2 adult chikdren - a son and daughter, who are hugely important to me of course

I am looking for someone who would like to share time with me, who would appreciate and match my interest in current affairs and be open to my Guardian reader tendencies (though i don’t actually read the Guardian). I love sharing ideas about all sorts of things. Mostly, i want to find someone kind who would enjoy getting to know each other and who would enjoy going to everything from intense plays or concerts to fun comedy shows, or watching a film on TV and who woukd take a risk on my cooking!
