About him
I'm an artist who makes and sells paintings, collages, and sculptures made from 'found objects'. I also write - a novel, short stories, a memoir, poems. My work makes me solitary but I enjoy good company, shared meals and a good sexual rapport. I'm 'versatile': I need flexibility and don't like to be stuck in either the active or passive roles. Art galleries, country walks with my two dogs, opera and ballet, historic buildings and gardening and reading are my favourite things. I don't watch TV and never have owned one.

Someone I can be silent with, and think my own thoughts. (I'm often visualizing the completion of my latest art work, which can happen without warning.) Someone who can 'drop the subject' when necessary: I'm fairly left-wing, politically, but I don't let politics sour a good friendship, if the other guy will back off. Ditto religious practices I don't share. To each his own. Must love dogs (I live with two, much beloved) and gardening: I'm always out there. Must read. And enjoy classical music ( or put up with me listening to it.)
