About her
I'm a caring and loyal companion but I'm also active, lively and outgoing, as reflected in my former work as a teacher/lecturer and counsellor. I'm creative, and love to learn new things: music is a particular love and I sing ( sometimes solo); I also love therapeutic dance and am learning to teach it! Currently I attend Spanish and writing groups, while other interests include amateur dramatics. I speak fluent French, and love to travel to new destinations, this year to Spain, Corfu and Sardinia. I have a small friendly dog and love walking/rambling, especially enjoying the countryside. My life is busy, and I like it that way, but I also try to find some quiet time for meditation.

I'm looking for someone intelligent , cultured and caring. Someone who may have experienced some trials on his path through life but who has tried to learn from them, as I have. Someone who values mutual understanding. It's important that he shares some of my interests, such as classical music and walking in nature, hopefully travel too, but he would of course also have other separate friends and interests. He would not necessarily share my spiritual outlook or my basic political orientation (which is left-leaning/green), but he would need to be open and tolerant.
