I've a love of live music, theatre and travel...just back from a first trip to Adelaide...and hope to back in France sometime in 2025.
Recent trips in the UK are more likely to be a pop concert or theatre trip with one of my daughters but historically I'd be the one on stage as a classical singer...
I love weekend walks in the countryside but I'm more of a stroll along a river or an NT estate type rather than a 20mile hike in the Peaks! I often walk alone (so I do miss owning a dog), Chilling in a local pub in the winter months is a favourite after my walks but I miss stimulating conversations with a like-minded soulmate.
Im working on my fitness, after lots of trecking in the Australian bush, and I'm now attending 2 types of dance classes. Not a gym bunny!
Im hoping to invest in a decent camera as I really enjoy taking landscape and nature photos.
Having lived in London for a decade, I also enjoy my citybreaks & will mooch happy around markets, period buildings, botanical gardens or photography/ art galleries.
I try to speak French when abroad, and have to keep learning the language, as I love to try and blend in with the locals!
