About her
Hello, I'm not sure what to say during this post pandemic era. My regular livelihood has been axed and I am gazing at a blank sheet of paper. I am generally pretty upbeat, and living in the rural beauty of South Somerset is glorious. I am grateful that I enjoy writing -- perfect in these different times. I have a few published volumes which I promote online, although not as diligently as I should. My three children are currently living abroad, Family is very important to me. I am spending a lot of time with my recently widowed mother in Hampshire as she comes to terms with a more solo life in her 80's. Clearing attics, garages etc is keeping me busy. We both enjoy exploring our local footpaths, and charity shops, finding interesting potential in both arenas. I am closely involved in alternative education, and I also like to sing; I am a member of a local choir. (Also currently axed.) I am interested in all things artistic, eco, sustainable, recycled, holistic, foraged, spiritual & reverent. Readers may reckon this places me firmly in the 'hippy camp', which I can assure them it doesn't. I am not especially sporty, although I can ride, ski, play tennis.to an average level. I enjoy being in water. I try to swim three times a week if possible, although I have yet to get back to this. I love to walk silently, shhh. Eleven years ago I returned from six years in New Zealand. I love animals and have two small dogs. I like to read - and learn - always learning. I love to share what I have learnt. I tend to be an instigator of community enterprise and have run several home-based businesses. I enjoy meeting people and networking whenever opportunities present themselves. I am open to moving locations and beginning again, although I am currently tied to village life on the edge of Salisbury Plain while my mother needs me. Life is a thrilling adventure that keeps getting better, usually!." P.s the silly hat is a recent charity shop find. My sister has already grabbed it for Glastonbury this year!

Kindness and empathy are at the top of my list --- coupled with a hunger for spiritual learning in a quiet, gentle way. And love of a rural, natural way of life goes without saying. I also enjoy a cultural environment; exploring a new place and uncovering its treasures is always exciting. I come from a classical background but enjoy an alternative, surprising twist . A partner would need to appreciate and enjoy a different take. Physical, mental, and spiritual chemistry are paramount. Literary communication is very important; I love to share creative writing projects, as well as explore our beautiful world with a significant other.
