Apparently online dating does work, so please convince me that it does. I'm really fed up up one-liners like "hey babe", girls like you on here?" and the like which you wouldn't get in every day conversation. I come as I am, and not plastered in Trump-orange foundation.
What do I like doing? I compete as a gymnast as part of the amateur adult competition circuit so that is an enormous passion of mine. I also put myself through the even more gruelling pain of following Manchester United at the moment. I'm pretty into my sport.
I love travelling, particularly to parts of the world where I can see landscapes. I recently went to the Rockies in Canada, and then the West Coast of the USA. I know Lord of the Rings was filmed in New Zealand, but I had the soundrack on whilst I was in the Rockies - it felt apt. I wish I could drive, because there are so many places in England that I'd love to explore.
I studied music at university - although I don't do this as a career. I play cello and sing. I'd say my favourite things to listen to tend to be the big symphonies, because they have the best cello tunes...I do love a good brass fanfare though. End of Mahler 1 always gets me.

The reason I've been losing faith in dating sites, is the number of topless photos I see of guys. All very attractive, but the impression it sets is that the only interest is having ripped abs. If this works out, in order to maintain that you're going to need to be at the gym even more, as you get older because it's harder as you get older. Your body won't look like that when you're 60/70, nor should it. If that's the only thing that attracted us, it's not going to work. I would love to meet someone beautiful, we all would, but there also should be a connection. The person I meet needs to be able to hold a conversation because we have something in common. They will have the confidence to tease me, and take the teasing back, because they have a good sense of humour. They will be empathetic, caring and romantic.
They will understand the role my faith plays in my life and hopefully will share this too.
