About her
I'm Anglo Italian, born in here in England. I spent my childhood in Djibouti, North Africa and Sicily. I had the most amazing childhood because I was raised with both cultures, grew up speaking 3 languages, and travelled around Europe and Africa with my parents.
Friends describe me as beautiful, kind, wise, intelligent, honest, loyal, supportive. “Truth and Beauty” and “Where’s There a Will There’s a Way” are my mottoes. Laughter and joy are important to me. I look like a lady and can be completely goofy and funny when I want to :)
I love cooking, art, music, poetry, Tantra yoga (and Yin, Hatha, Kundalini), and dancing; Belly Dancing, 5 Rhythms, Salsa,Tango are favourites. I love dressing up for an evening out or being relaxed and cosy, snuggling up on the sofa. I'm about living life rather than vicariously watching it on TV.
I started meditating and doing karate in my teens. I'm still devoted to meditation. I recently took up fencing and archery. I love the strategy and zen like qualities of these sports.
I’ve read most of Carlos Castaneda and do Tensegrity and other energy practices. I'm a trained Systemic Constellator facilitator.
I studied my Open University degree in History & English Lit whilst studying full time at Art School and then East 15 Acting School. I love learning, exploring (both travel and personal development). I've a passion for innovation and discovering new experiences. I volunteer my skills to help vulnerable and disadvantaged persons.
I trained in Marketing after a successful career as an actor and theatre company director, which I left to have my son. I'm proud mamma to a wonderful 15 year old boy. I live with my son and my English Toy Terrier dog, called Barry. I qualified as a HR Director and Executive Business Coach whilst raising my son. Now I'm an Executive HR and Business Development Consultant. I'm very sociable and I love working with people.

I don't believe in having long lists of qualities. I don't a 'type'. I'm looking for a man who will be my friend and lover.
People tell me that I'm intelligent, caring, loving, kind, honest, loyal, supportive, funny, open and flexible.
Honesty is the best policy ( as we're always saying in HR !) because I believe in being real with myself and others, being authentic.
I'm committed to my own spiritual and personal growth because I know it makes me a better person. I'm open to new experiences and learning, because I’m about being here now and growing and developing myself, living life to the full, and experiencing all that life has to offer.
I'm very affectionate, caring, and tactile. I believe in being loving, kind, caring, compassionate, and affectionate in my relationship. Regular loving cuddles and caring touch are important too. Didn't you know that everyone needs at least 8 hugs a day to stay alive ! OK, I probably exaggerated that statistic ;) I do think that plenty of loving hugs and cuddles (and laughter) are the best medicine in life. I'm someone who can be spontaneously affectionate, who loves holding hands and kissing , because I enjoy showing my love and care to the man I love.
I'm very loyal in my relationships, because I believe that commitment and support are the foundations of any good and lasting relationship. As Gabriel Oak told Bathsheba Everdene, in Far From the Madding Crowd; "At home by the fire, whenever I look up, there you will be. And whenever you look up, there I shall be". I believe that standing together, side by side, we can take on the world.
I'm looking for a genuine, and long-term relationship.. I have a wonderful life, wonderful family and friends, and people always say how positive and joyful I am. The only thing missing is a special man to share my "one wild and precious life with". And if you recognised that quote from Mary Oliver you get extra bonus points !

I've known Elinor for many years. She's my best female friend for so many reasons.
She's a well rounded woman, physically, intellectually and spiritually.
She's a beautiful woman inside and out. Her looks are to be admired, she's humble about her physical traits which makes her look even more beautiful.
All of us who know her can rely on her support, wisdom and compassion in time of need. She's genuinely a caring person, warm, affectionate. Her love for life, great sense of humour and fun shine through her.
She's loyal, honest. I trust her opinions and advice implicitly, both at a personal and practical, business levels. Her integrity is one of her many qualities. She has shown on many occasions to be a strong advocate and ally in time of my personal challenges.
She has great determination and focus to achieve her goals. At only 18 years-old, completely on her own steam, she successfully applied to the local Council for a scholarship to go to Drama School, she gave an impressive performance that won her a place and in spite of challenges along the way, she succeeded in completing the course. Undaunted by hard work and study, she obtained her degree in History and English Lit and even retrained as an HR professional whilst working and married with one child.
She's an avid reader, assimilating and retaining knowledge on a number varied topics to amaze me. We share not only her love for music , singing and dance but also the quiet, peaceful times at home discussing world events and trivia.
I'm privileged to have had the chance to have known her and continue to be her friend after so many years.

Elinor has been my friend for 30 years. To describe her in a nutshell she is quite simple one of life's quintessential English Roses. A Warm hearted empath, soft and gentle energy yet elegantly assertive. Intelligent both in IQ and EQ, Elinor is a an independent Lady who has achieved her own successes in business and strives to continually develop skills and concepts through courses and self exploration. Above all she is a spiritual holistic type and would be suited to a Man who is also into personal/spiritual development and who understands that chivalry still speaks volumes even in todays's society.

Elinor truly is one of the most beautiful women I have ever met. I've known her for three years and I feel privileged to call her a close friend. Elinor is very loving, kind, honest, generous, understanding, intelligent, fun, and has a sparkling zest for life! She thinks and feels deeply, and listens and responds to others with her whole heart. She has a gentleness about her that is really touching, whilst at the same time being an inspiringly strong and empowered woman. I find it totally delicious to be in her presence and have told her a few times that I wish I was a man so I could go out with her myself!
