Some key things to know about me are that I’m fun, caring, intelligent, sporty, curious and thoughtful. I love a deep conversation entwined with belly laughs. I love a natter about the simple things (what is the best way to cook kale?). I love just being in the company of someone where silence is an easy connection, not an awkward moment. We are living in challenging times and it’s made me finally determined to stop pretending that my relatively independent life is enough for me. It isn’t. I need a special person in my life, a partner through adversity and good times, a soulmate to build a life with. I live in London but am ready for a move and a change of working pattern. Over the years I guess I’ve realised that certain values and qualities matter most to me. Number one would be kindness. My dad was the kindest person I’ve ever known and I find it hard to respect someone who isn’t basically kind. A linked belief is that we’re not here just to further our own wellbeing or ambitions. The greater good - other people & the world we live in - matters. And no I’m not looking for a saint! I’m far from it. I’m just more likely to connect with someone who has a similar philosophy in life.
