I'm satisfied with many aspects of my life, yet as a quiet romantic, I wish to encounter someone special and to share a life of fulfilment and joy with her.
As a lawyer, I work hard for my clients and find the challenges of resolving disputes very rewarding.
I'm passionate about running, and for the past ten years, I've competed in several races in the UK and Europe. It has really enhanced the quality of my life, especially as I enjoy the company of other runners in my club, being involved in social events and training and volunteering to help beginners.
My travelling ranges (in pre-Covid times) from weekend breaks to walking holidays and visiting historical sites for an adventure. I relish cooking full-flavoured recipes over the weekends, and I'm a sucker for saffron rice! I'm passionate about history with fond memories of seeing freshly discovered artefacts from ancient Alexandria and getting lost in Rome searching for traces of a ruined temple! I dabble in creative writing, keep a journal, and a few years ago, I started writing a novel set in ancient Egypt, which I must confess may remain unfinished until my retirement!
