About him
Why should people get to know me? Erm... history would teach me that it may well seem debatable as to whether it’s worth the effort or not; however, if you like a challenge... what friends and colleagues say about me...
knowledgeable, annoying, talented, irritating, usually well-turned-out, inveterate smart-arse, well-intentioned, multi-faceted(as in jack-of-all-trades rather than two-faced!), unusual, occasionally slightly amusing, essentially empathetic and altruistic, hard work, kind, difficult to fathom.
When younger, clearly an INFJ, slipping into borderline INFP in middle age! (If you read up on INFJs, that’ll explain some of the less desirable traits above, somewhat.) I have found it very hard to let people in.
Music is very important to me, I am interested in art & design, architecture, history, reading -historical novels, biographies and poetry in the main, being in the landscape, sport etc.

Yes, well, I have spent most of my life (14+ but not diagnosed til I was 40!) in a recurring battle against depression, on a roughly three year cycle, which makes all this difficult, which has made life difficult, nevertheless, I have still achieved much. I have made big strides with some therapy over the last two years. I am not on medication or in therapy at present and things are better but I am not the finished article (is anyone?).

(Goatee at present after a Movember Mo, but fluctuate from nothing to beard just for a change, every now and then...in case it’s important or off-putting to you! (Ha, like facial hair is going to be the issue after all that!!))
