About him
I am easy going, and do enjoy the company of others, though I am quite content with my own company. My wife passed away 4 years ago.
I do enjoy classical music, though I am definitely not an expert, I know little about the composition, but enjoy it anyway. Before my wife died, we frequently attended concerts and operas in York and Leeds.
I have been a keen motorcyclist for most of my life, in fact I have recently bought a beautiful new bike, however, due to the Coronavirus, I have only recently picked it up. I do drive a car, and would not expect a lady to ride pillion, I use it for me time. I love visiting the Dales and having a good walk.
I like to consider myself to be pretty open minded, without prejudice and would like you to have a similar philosophy.
I love animals, dogs in particular, though I don’t have one at the moment, my lovely Labrador died a few months ago.
I am an outdoor type, and regard myself as a country boy, I prefer the slower way of life.

I really don’t know what I’m looking for. I’m not seeking a close imitation of my wife, as that would be grossly unfair. I would like to be able to share my love of classical music. I definitely do not consider myself to be high brow. I have no idea whether I want a permanent relationship, but it would be lovely to enjoy female companionship for nights out, meals etc.
How a relationship develops is up in the air - who knows, but I’m sure that there is someone out there with whom I could get along, she doesn’t have to share all my interests, but not to be hostile to them. A friendly, easy going nature would be nice. I enjoy a good discussion and would not expect you to agree with all my views - where’s the fun in that.
