I am an Anglophile -- everything British! I love England, the history, the royalty, the countryside and the cities, and the accent! I love baking, cooking, gardening, travel, genealogy study, and most if all, music. I love Renaissance and Baroque the most, then Classical. Not as crazy about Romantic and 20th century. Love the 60s and 70s! I am a music educator by profession and have sung in opera and professional choirs... and at Westminster Abbey! I'm pretty laid back and even - tempered, will go with most anything. I'm not outdoorsy, but would like to be more active. I have a good sense of humor and appreciate clever repartee, enjoy a good discussion or debate. I love animals, especially dogs, and am an active animal advocate. I'm not high-maintenance, but I appreciate the finer things in life. I've had a lot, and I've had very little, which has made me empathic and compassionate. My life is centered in the Lord, and I endeavor to be a good representative on Earth and to love others the best that I can.

I would enjoy someone, obviously, who shares my interests, but that also has interests of his own. A fellow singer would be ideal! I'm interested in someone who is respectful, patient, affectionate, considerate and thoughtful. But also someone who is strong, self- assured, and confident. If he has kids and grandkids, good! I'm happy. I love family life! A good sense of humor is important, to not take life so seriously all the time. I appreciate a man who is clean, tidy, and takes pride in his appearance. Finally, someone who is faithful, loyal, and takes commitments seriously, and loves God.
