I have been described as being kind, thoughtful, caring and honest.
I have two grown up children who have their own lives to lead and although I live in town just outside Brighton, when not working, I find there is nothing better than getting out into the countryside with my dogs for walks either through woodland or out onto the Southdowns where the views are spectacular. However, I would like to visit pastures new and would love to share these times with someone special. I love visiting the New Forest, west country and Scotland (although it's been a while since my last visit). I like country pubs for lunches and evenings out, have a keen interest in animals and livestock and would really have liked to run a smallholding some day.
I enjoy most music genres, punk, rock, new wave, folk, blues, etc. etc; some classical but not jazz!
I'm very practically minded and enjoy building projects for the house, garden and vehicles, especially Land Rovers - of which many have been owned over the years.
Although based in West Sussex, I find it's getting too busy here and would ideally like to meet someone based in a more rural part of the country like the west country, Wales, Ireland, Scotland or of course someone local who is willing to start a new life elsewhere.
