I would describe myself as calm, relaxed, caring, naturally bright, articulate, intelligent, educated, a great dress sense, positive, sporty but not competitive, spontaneous/go with the flow, warm, sensitive, kind, mindful, a good sense of humour.
I think physical and mental fitness as well as knowing how to relax important. After many years abroad and an executive in the City, I turned ‘hybrid’ like many and am enjoying a much more spacious pace in life. I’ve had a long standing yoga and meditation practice which is central to my life and work now. I enjoy the gym, spa, dance, swimming, SUP, E-cycle for fun. Love music and to dance whether it’s in the kitchen or elsewhere.
I prefer conversations over a coffee or glass of wine or champagne rather than big loud groups though extremely sociable too.
Married for many years, spent time alone reflecting on the next step forward and would like to meet one person who I’d like to be with indefinitely.
I’ve travelled a lot and also lived in several different countries. It’s given me a broad appreciation of cultures and lifestyles. Happily home now in the U.K. I’d choose the beach or visiting a great city like Florence for its architecture and museums. Have loved skiing in the Alps and scuba diving in the past. I’d enjoy road trips round the beautiful spots in England but am not a backpacker! I have a beautiful small pup now which means you'd need to love dogs too 🐶. Travel isn’t at the top of my agenda anymore having seen and lived in many parts of the world. I’m far more content with a quieter and easier pace of life these days enjoying the simplicity and beauty of what’s around me.

Someone who has a fun, engaging, intelligent mind and is self aware (like me!), is articulate, well spoken, educated, somewhat sporty or athletic and possibly a professional. Not looking for action man nor a mirror image of me so I guess it’ll be about doing things we both want to do or try.
Health, mental and physical fitness are important to you. Do you enjoy great restaurants, healthy food, good wine, movies, travel, walks, films, conversation ...simple things ? …enjoys spontaneity, is relaxed/calm, might enjoy many different things visiting gardens, museums, architecture, U.K. road trips, visiting the great Cities of the world as well as a sporting activity, ski lodge, lying on a beach or even a meditation/yoga retreat! That’s not a prerequisite btw as not many men I know do yoga or Meditation but you might love it if I teach you!
If you understand words like mindfulness or emotional intelligence that would be a great start but I believe some of those qualities can come naturally like being a good listener and being adaptable rather than fixated on views. Not an avid political follower but acutely aware of what is going on in the world today in the sense of equality and justice.
Someone young at heart like me and close to my age with good self awareness and honest values.
The qualities I’ve ticked are important to me - loyalty, kindness, intelligence, fun, sense of humour, generosity and thoughtfulness are key from both sides. Perhaps you have a somewhat spiritual and creative fun side too?
Willing to get to know each other meeting for a coffee, and building a friendship as well as hoping that sparks will eventually fire of course. You'd need to live easy driving distance. Not interested in a long distance relationship.
